Chiefs has been fantastic. The camp is gorgeous, I DO have a fab central room (No 8) and a great view - thank you!! . It is just breathtaking going on the drives in the Okavango Delta....I definitely will return - put Abu on the list for next year with Namibia!!! We have to plan that trip for next Aug!!"

Where To Go

One of the greatest natural wonders of the world, the Okavango Delta. Drawing its water from the rainy season in the Angolan highlands, this extraordinary area becomes a haven for a multitude of birds as sparkling, life-giving water fills the flood plains and trickles through reed filled channels.


To the south east, your Botswana safari might include the Makgadikgadi Pans, once a magnificent lake, are now dry and covered with a startlingly white saline crust which stretches for mile upon endless mile, relieved only by palm tree islands and huge baobabs.



In the dry season, the Chobe River and Chobe Park attract elephant in their hundreds, while the Savuti Channel is well known for its black maned lion.



In the eastern corner of Botswana, where the legendary Limpopo and Shashe rivers meet, lies one of the world's largest private game reserves. Some 71,000 hectares in extent The Northern Tuli Game Reserve was once a part of a vast ecosystem and has spectacular scenery, an incredible diversity of wildlife and some 350 bird species.
